as medical director, it was announced today.
CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits, based in Wilmington,
Del., provides health care benefits and services for expatriate

than 700 multinational companies and institutions in the Americas,
Europe and Asia Pacific region.
"Dr. Laminack's global achievements in coordinating and monitoring

Dr. Lyndon E. Laminack, M.D."Clearly, keeping expatriates healthy
and secure has a significant impact on the success of the
international assignment and their employer's bottom line."
In his new post, Dr. Laminack will be responsible for the quality
of CIGNA's expatriate medical care delivery, working directly with
members, their physicians, coordinating doctors and medical directors
of client companies and institutions.
Most recently, Dr. Laminack was group deputy medical director in
charge of operations in North and South America for International SOS

expatriate employees, their families and business travelers working
for ISOS client companies headquartered throughout the Americas.
Following the acquisition of ISOS by AEA International in 1998, Dr.
Laminack led the transition to integrate the medical departments of
the organization's U.S. Alarm Centers, which included recruitment and
supervision of ISOS coordinator doctors. He also helped develop
clinical protocols worldwide and monitored the quality of patient
care for medical services, air ambulance evacuations and commercial
airline medical transports.
Initially, Dr. Laminack joined AEA in 1991 as a senior coordinator
doctor in the Republic of Singapore, later becoming area medical
director at AEA headquarters there. In addition, he developed a
network of health care providers and regional hospitals for ISOS air
medical evacuation patients. Throughout his career with AEA and ISOS,
he was responsible for site surveys and special missions throughout
Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
Dr. Laminack graduated from the University of Texas Medical School
